Dance Camp 2013
Dates are Friday, Jan. 25; Saturday Jan. 26; and Sunday Jan. 27.
This year, like the past several years, we will host a the City Lights Ball Dance Camp. Unlike any other dance instructional seminars, our events are taught exclusively by former World or National Champions in various dance styles. In addition, our "Show Couple", teaches some of their secrets too success. This is a rare opportunity!! (See SHOW for more information about them and the Show as well.)
Classes start in the mornings of each day, and end before dinner. They are a small group, where no partner is necessary. Some are dance participation, some are more lecture style. The City Lights Ball Dance Camp Schedule will post which instructors will be teaching at specific times. See list of Instructors, who are also our Judges for the competition. (Note - ALL sessions are GROUP lessons, and there are no privates before or during the competition. We believe in a "level playing field"!!)
On the topics for each session, we post an idea of the subject matter but many times, the instructors go with what the attendees would like to know as well!
Sessions are organized so that you can either dance in the Competition or you can do the Dance Camp - or BOTH! If you do both, we would like to know - and hear - from you directly, as our ordering systems don't sync up to tell us this information and just by dancing and "camping" you are automatically invited to our party on Sunday evening.
Prices for the sessions are listed on the site, and can be purchased by downloading a FORM for Dance Camp (to fax in or mail in with your check), OR can be purchased online with MasterCard or Visa from our website. Check Online Ordering to see when sessions are available to make a purchase. Online is left live up until approximately a week before the deadline. But, there is the chance a class can fill, so ordering as early as possible is suggested.
