The following rules and regulations are in addition to the current National Dance Council of America (N.D.C.A.) rules and regulations. Please check current forms for specific information on age categories, levels, dances offered. There are many changes each year to our competition. Check for the latest information on the forms.

Tickets & Hotel Reservations

Tickets can be purchased in advance, online (through our partner 02CM) on our website www.citylightsball.com, or through ordering on FORMS also located on the website. These forms can be mailed in to the POB listed on the forms or can be faxed. Please be sure to follow directions listed on these forms and include both entries for dancing, admission tickets and summary forms.

All competitors and spectators must have an admission ticket to enter the ballroom. Due to heavy lines right before dance session, PLEASE pick up your tickets well in advance.

Ticket Seating will be based on date of receipt in combination with the size of the order. For example, someone who is coming in a group with an advanced order will get preference; someone who is buying tickets for the weekend will get preference, etc.

NOTE: THIS YEAR – SPECIFIC TABLES CANNOT BE ORDERED ONLINE OR THROUGH FORMS. ALL SEATING WILL BE BASED ON PRIORIZATION MENTIONED ABOVE, AND AT THE DISCRETION OF CITY LIGHTS BALL.

Hotel Reservations need to be made independently by dancers. See the City Lights Ball website for hotel information, and to get the special negotiated rate, you MUST mention City Lights Ball. City Lights Ball happens only by a guarantee of a certain number of hotel rooms. The hotel needs to know you are with our competition for us not to pay double. We do not add any mark up on the rates, so please help us out by mentioning our competition!
